Hmmm . . . How to sum up 10 years . . .
Ricks College, Marriage, Husband enlists in the Air Force, California, son, Texas, son, Alaska, breast cancer, BYU-I, daughter, Meridian, then Provo with one on the way.

I married James WIllis after a year of college. Soon our son Phillip was on the way and we (James) enlisted in the Air Force. He served for 7 years as a Russian linguist. We were stationed in California (where Phillip was born), Texas and Alaska. Luke was born in Texas and in Alaska I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Three surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and clinical trial drugs helped me overcome the cancer and now I enjoy a healthy life again. I traveled to D.C. to talk with Senators and Reps. about breast cancer legislation and have spoken at multiple awareness functions. After the cancer we were blessed with a little miracle, Lindy. My husband has been attending BSU for a Masters of Communication degree. We have recently been given the opportunity to change directions and James has been accepted to a program to become an Army Chaplain. We'll be in Provo two years for his schooling.
I love being a mother and being alive.
I enjoy promoting breast cancer awareness, writing music, and playing the guitar and singing at the occasional open-mic night. I am continuing to take college courses, which is a fun challenge.
